A Cream of Broccoli Soup Recipe Too Good To Be True

Here’s a very simple cream of broccoli soup recipe that is both delicious and light on your wallet.

What you’ll need:

Sauce pan

Pot

5 tablespoons of butter

3 tablespoons of flour

2 cups of milk

1 onion

6 florets of broccoli

1 stalk of celery

3 cups chicken broth

-Chop up your onion and celery

-Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a small pot and add the vegetables and sauté

-Then add the broth and simmer for 10 minutes

-In the sauce pan melt the other 3 tablespoons of butter and then stir in the flour and milk for about 2 minutes or until it is thick.

-Then add sauce to the pot, stir and serve.

The only thing this cream of broccoli soup recipe is missing is some french bread and then you’ll be ready to dive right in, enjoy!
