Boiled shrimp and cocktail sauce can really become boring after a while. Sometimes, you need to change things up a bit to make your life interesting. Below is a simple, tasty boil shrimp recipe that will have the whole family raving before the night is over. You will need the following things. Measurements are not included so you may personalize for your family size or personal taste.

Either Raw or Frozen Shrimp

Spaghetti or Linguine Noodles

Butter (Melted)

Garlic (Minced)

Parsley (Chopped)

Green Onion (Chopped)

Lemon Juice.

First, put the shrimp into a pot of boiling water and boil the shrimp until they are pink and firm with a bit of a bounce to the touch. If you have frozen shrimp, they will already be pink, and you will have to feel them to know if they are finished.

Boil pasta in a separate pot, about 6 or 7 minutes until tender.

Melt the butter in a separate skillet and heat. Toss in the minced garlic and allow it to simmer on low heat for a bit. Take your green onion and throw it into the mix, along with lemon juice. Allow to cook until the onion becomes flaccid. Make sure not to overcook and allow the minced garlic to brown. Turn off heat when finished.

In a separate skillet (you may have to clean one) melt butter and add additional lemon juice. Take desired amount of pasta, shrimp, and veggies and throw them in the skillet, cooking on high heat and tossing frequently so that you don’t burn any of the food. You just want to heat it up for a moment, so everything is the same temperature. Serve and enjoy!
