Beef is a tricky item to cook. It takes a certain amount of skill to be able to get your beef exactly the way you want it. Overcook the beef and it can taste and feel like leather in your mouth. Undercook it and you may feel like a savage, a barbarian, or—even worse!—a cannibal. Below you will find some helpful and useful tips on how to cook tender beef the easy way.

If you are cooking your beef in a skillet it can be a bit more difficult to gauge the tender ness of your beef. Cook the beef on low heat, making sure to turn it over constantly. If you don’t turn the beef, it will cook too much on one side and become more well done. Tender beef should be cooked evenly on all sides to ensure that it stays tender. Also, if you cook your beef with a high temperature, you are going to cook the outsides faster than it cooks through the middle, thereby causing your tender beef to be not so tender.

I’m sure you’re asking how to cook tender beef on the grill? This is the simplest and easiest method, as the low and surrounding heat of the grill will allow the beef to cook all the way through evenly. That way, you won’t be cooking the beef un evenly and can ensure its tenderness. Make sure to turn the beef once it begins to brown on the bottom. Grill marks are good, as you can compare the two and gauge how much each side is cooked. Cooking the beef evenly is key for how to cook tender beef.

Also, stay away from a conventional oven. This, more likely than any other way, will yield beef that is not so tender. Broil is a good way to have tender beef, but if you have something against raw meat—and like your beef cooked more well done—then broil will make your beef tough. Only broil your beef if you like it on the rare side. We hope that answers your question: how to cook tender beef the easy way.
Recipes for Hamburgers are the most sought after item on the cooking market, which is probably because hamburgers are a staple American diet. They are quick, easy, and allow for a full meal even when you busy schedule says you can’t sit down and eat a decent meal with your family. Below, you will find two recipes for hamburgers that will have your mouth watering. We promise that you won’t go wrong with these recipes for hamburgers.

The first recipe for hamburgers is a garlic lemon pepper burger, which is easy and quick and doesn’t really require any fancy mumbo jumbo. Just some hamburger meat, onion, garlic, an egg, and lemon pepper seasoning. Ideally, if you were using one pound of hamburger meat, you would want to use one medium sized onion, three or four cloves of garlic, one egg, and a healthy helping of lemon pepper seasoning.

What you want to do first is chop up the onion into fine pieces. You don’t want them to be too small, but they should be small enough as to not screw with the classic texture of the hamburger. Mince the garlic into fine pieces. Once your vegetables are chopped, put them into a large bowl with the ground beef, add the egg, and mix them all together with the lemon pepper seasoning until they are all an even consistency throughout the meat. Make sure not to forget to add salt and pepper. If you are low on lemon pepper seasoning, you can substitute extra pepper and lemon juice. Make sure not to add too much lemon juice otherwise you will have soggy burgers.

Pack the meat together into patties and turn on the grill. Allow them to cook. It is also suggested that you put the bun on the grill as well, for a crispy finish. And that is the first recipes for hamburgers we will tell you.
Hamburgers are a staple of American diet. It is quintessential food, thereby making everyone think they can cook the best hamburger. We, however, have the best hamburger recipe on the face of the planet, and intend to share it with you. We like to call it the Southwest Salsa Burger, but in its honor we’ll refer to it as the best hamburger recipe in the world.

The best hamburger recipe in the world will yield about 5-6 burgers. It is best served with a side of corn on the cob and honey baked beans, but you can get creative and serve it with any sides you’d like—mashed potatoes, peas, biscuits and what not.

You will need the following items for the best hamburger recipe in the whole world:

      1 lb Ground Beef

      1 yellow onion

      1 medium jalapeño pepper (minced)

      3 cloves garlic (minced)

      1 egg

      ½ cup bread crumbs

      1 tbsp oregano leaves

      ½ tsp cumin

      ¼ tsp chipotle chili powder

      Salt

      Pepper

Garnish:

      Corn & Bean Salsa

      Monterrey Jack Cheese

      Tomato

      Guacamole

      Fried Tortilla Strips

Follow the directions below to compile your best hamburger recipe! First, mince the garlic, onion, and jalapeño pepper. Add the vegetables with the ground beef into a large bowl. Add the egg and all the spices and begin mixing until you have an even consistency between all three. If your mix feels a bit wet, add some breadcrumbs to make it a bit thicker. Don’t add too much though, or your burgers will fall apart!

After you have mixed all the ingredients, break the mixture down into three to five ounce patties. Pack them tightly together and start the grill.

While the grill warms, cut down three or four tortillas into strips. Add oil to a pan (enough to submerge the strips) and fry them until they are crispy. They will still be a little wet, but you can put them on tin foil and throw those babies on the grill for a few minutes to dry them up.

Cook your best burger recipe on the grill until they are the desired temperature. Add the Monterrey jack cheese so it melts. When the burgers are done, spread the guacamole over the bottom bun and place the burger over it. Add the corn and bean salsa on top, then add the fried tortilla chips. Enjoy the best hamburger recipe in the world!
Cooking times for roast beef are incredibly fickle, and in keeping the integrity of the beef, it’s best if you have an internal thermometer to keep track of how well done (or not!) your beef is. However, if you don’t have an internal meat thermometer, you can follow these guidelines to help time the cooking of your roast beef.

Remember, times will change based on the amount of fat you have on your roast beef, and the weight of your roast. Please add or subtract cooking time based on these factors. The following cooking times are based on an average 5-7 pound roast. Cook your roast at 350º.

The rule of thumb for cooking times for roast beef is to cook it for 45 per pound. This will give the meat a cook between medium to medium-well. That means, if you have a seven-pound roast beef, then you want to cook it for about 5 ½ hours.

When your roast is finished cooking, you want to stick it with a grilling fork (one of those big, two-pronged ones) and hold it just high enough so the roast can slide off the fork. If the beef slides off, you know your roast beef is done.
Cooking a whole filet mignon is quite tricky, because the cut is so delicate the slightest mistake in temperature or timing could completely ruin in it. Listed below are a couple of tips that will take this common cooking headache and turn it into a wonderfully tasting meal.

Cooking A Whole Filet Mignon: Tips

-When selecting your cut, keep an eye on the marbling; essentially the lighter the meat the more tender it will be.

-When cooking make sure not to use a non-stick pan, as those little browned bits are perfect to add to your sauce to go over the steaks.

-Only use high temperatures to cook your steaks to ensure the juices don’t escape

-Never, ever, cook your steaks beyond medium rare, otheriwse they will lose their tenderness

-Since the juices are so important, don’t use a meat thermometer or anything that cuts into the meat. Rely on touch.

Here’s an easy filet mignon recipe for cooking the oven:

What you’ll need:

2 tablespoons of butter

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

1 tablespoon of minced garlic

1/2 pound of mushrooms

2 1 1/2 inch thick filet mignons

1 cup of red wine

1/2 cup of feta, crumbled

salt and pepper

aluminum foil

-Preheat your oven to 375ºF (191ºC)

-Season the steak on both sides with your salt and pepper

-Heat your oil on a non-stick pan over medium flame

-When hot, add your steaks. Cook each side for 3 minutes.

-Take the pan and place it in the oven for 5 minutes for rare, 7-8 for medium rare.

-Remove the pan from the oven and place the steaks on a separate plate covered with aluminum foil to preserve heat

-Take the heated pan and place it over medium flame and add the wine.

-Add your butter and mushrooms and stir until melted

-Scrape up the browned bits and mix until sauce is at 1/3 cup

-Spoon sauce over steaks

-Add the cheese

Now armed with your quick-easy guide and this basic recipe, you’re all set for cooking a whole filet mignon. Bon appetit!

Broiling filet mignon is particularly tricky because you’re trying to cook something that is especially sensitive to high temperatures and cooking times and trying cook it at a very high temperature. It is important to always keep an eye on your steaks to make sure they don’t get over cooked and ruined. Also, do no check the tenderness or their temperature with a meat thermometer or anything else that cuts into the steak, because you will lose essential juices. It is best instead to give it a poke to see how tender they are. Also, keep in mind that filet mignon should never be cooked past medium-rare.

Ok, so, how long to cook a roast beef is not quite a super-simple formula. There are a few variables that you need to consider. These variables are as follows. Your beef roast may be fattier than beef roasts you’ve had in the past.

If your roast is fatty, then you want to cook the roast for less time than you would cook it if it were a solid piece of meat. Also, the shape will effect cooking times. If the beef roast is perfectly round, then the meat will cook more consistently.

Still, those are small variables that can be easily adjusted for. The simple formula for how long to cook a beef roast is as follows. At a consistent oven temperature of 350º, you want to cook the beef roast for about 45 minutes per pound.

Average beef roasts are about five pounds, so that means you will cook an average sized beef roast for 3 and ¾ hours. That will yield a medium to medium-well roast. If you prefer your beef roast a bit bloodier, then take some time off the cooking time. Remember, if your beef roast is bigger than average, then you are going to want to add more cooking time.
Cooking a pot roast can be quite a daunting task. With so much meat, it can be hard to know where to start, and by which medium to cook it. Below are simple instructions on how to cook a pot roast in a crock pot.

First, you are going to need your meat and vegetables. I’d recommend a rump roast—which you can get from your local butcher—(I’d also recommend asking your butcher to pick out a good piece of meat for you. Remember, he’s the expert). For vegetables, something as simple as potatoes, onions, and carrots will be more than sufficient for you pot roast.

First, cut up the onions and place them in the bottom of the crock pot. Sprinkle them with flour and add a healthy amount of butter. Turn the crock pot on high and let them sauté while you brown the outside of your roast.

Browning the outside of your roast will allow the flavors of the meat to come out when you slow cook it in the crock pot. Make sure to rub the roast with seasoning before you brown it, as it will get deep into the meat. After your roast is browned around the sides, throw it on top of the onions. Keep the crock pot on high.

Now, cut up the potatoes and carrots and add them to the crock pot on top of the meat and onions. Cover, and turn the crock pot on low, and allow it to cook for six hours. After the time is up you can enjoy your pot roast. That’s how to cook pot roast in a rock pot.
