Ah, it summertime. The beer doesn’t stay cold for long, and you’ve removed your grill from storage and are ready to start cooking shit up over an open flame. But you are already tired of the beef and chicken that you’ve constantly had all spring fall and winter, so you want to mix it up. You want something new. So you decide to grill fish. But you are wondering: how do I grill fish? We have an simple answer for you that will make your grilling experience go super smooth.

One of the things you have to look out for when you try to answer the question of how do I grill fish is that, for the most part, the fish will fall through the grilling grate if you are not careful. Most of the time, fish can crumble and be lost forever if you don’t take proper precautions.

One thing you can do is put a piece of tin foil underneath your fish, but that eliminates the possibility of having those nice, just-been-grilled grilling marks on it. It will, however, allow you to grill your fish without having any of it crumble and fall through the grate into the roaring fire.

If you are cooking salmon, for example, you may still be asking how do I grill fish? Cook it only on the side with the dark, skin (the part you usually remove). This is tougher than the usual fish, and will stay together even when you are grilling. Just be careful to not flip the fish over onto the soft, orangey part, because you once again risk having your filet fall apart. Be cautious!

We hope that answers your question of how do I grill fish. Be careful and pay attention!
Most people think that shrimp scampi is a dish that you can only get at the most elegant of seafood restaurants. Shrimp scampi is a mysterious and elegant dish, but in reality it is super simple and incredibly easy to mimic while you are at home. Below you will find awesome shrimp scampi recipes that will leave your family, husband, or wife thinking that they were at a five star restaurant instead of your home kitchen!

For this shrimp scampi recipes you are going to need the following items. First, you definitely need shrimp. It is recommended that you buy fresh shrimp from your local grocery store, as it is better quality than the bagged, pre-frozen shrimp. If you choose to buy the bag shrimp (for convenience or whatever) then make sure you thaw out the shrimp before you begin making this shrimp scampi recipes.

You are also going to need some white wine, a few lemons, and a lot of butter to make the shrimp scampi sauce. You are also going to need some pasta: thin spaghetti or small linguine will work just fine. You are also going to want some yellow bell pepper to throw in the mix.

First, chop up the bell pepper into thin strips (julienne) and throw them into a pan with the shrimp. Add the white wine, and allow the shrimp and peppers to simmer in the wine (do not add too much or your shrimp will overcook) until the wine burns off. While this is happening (it will take a few minutes for this shrimp scampi recipes) boil your pasta.

Once the wine is burned off add the pasta into the pan with your desired amount of shrimp and peppers per serving. Add a healthy amount of butter and lemon juice and sauté, tossing it until it is hot all the way through. Plate it and serve. Take some time to enjoy the shrimp scampi recipes you just made!
If you’re looking to impress your friends and family, it’s always good to keep a few sea bass recipes in the drawer to spice things up. If this is your first time preparing sea bass recipes, don’t worry it really isn’t all that difficult. Provided below are two sea bass recipes that are both cheap and quick, leaving you with more time to spend with your loves ones than in the kitchen.

The first sea bass recipes is a baked sea bass with vegetables, so you will need a whole sea bass or a filet, some fennel leaves, butter, and your veggies. To begin you’ll season your sea bass with salt and pepper, and some lemon juice with the fennel leaves inside the fish. Then, warm the butter on skillet and brown the fish.

Place the fish in a baking pan with the baking pan with the vegetables (like onions and potatoes) into a oven preheated at 350°F for 25-30 minutes. You’ll know when the fish is done when the fish starts to flake easily with a fork.

Weather permitting, this second sea bass recipes is instructions on a delectable bbq sea bass dish. For this treat you’ll need: potatoes, butter, mushrooms, red onion, lemon juice, chili oil, pesto sauce and chervil.

First, you’ll need to boil your potatoes in a pot and sauté your mushrooms and onions in a skillet with butter. Then, insert the chervil into the sea bass and rub the sides with chili oil, sea salt and pepper. Wrap it in aluminum foil and set on the grill for about 5 minutes on each side. Check to make sure the fish is not over cooked; it should flake off easily with a fork. Then combine all the ingredients with a little bit of pesto sauce.

We hope you enjoyed these sea bass recipes!
Looking to smoke salmon, but quite sure if you have the right smoked salmon recipe? Well you’ve come to the right place, for here is a simple smoked salmon recipe that you can complete in only 4 steps!

To start, either purchase or cut your salmon into filets. Also, it’s best to leave your salmon frozen if it has already been put in the freezer. Many smoked salmon recipe recommend this because in the process of thawing the fish tends to lose some of its moisture. Then, you’ll have to make a brine mixture with salt and brown sugar (at a 2:1 ratio salt-brown sugar). It should be enough to cover the filets completely immersed. This process, called brining, is the first step of the smoked salmon recipe and should sit in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.

Afterwards, take it out of the fridge and rinse off the brine with cold water. Then place the fish on a oiled rack and back into the fridge for 12 hours. This is the second step of the smoked recipe, called curing.

Once the salmon has cured its time to smoke it. Put the rack on the smoker and increase the temperature slowly until you reach 150°F and smoke for about 30 minutes. When the smoked salmon is done, remove it from the rack and set it aside to cool. Now, isn’t that a simple smoked salmon recipe?

This smoked salmon recipe also doubles as the procedure for preparing your salmon to be vacuum sealed. Once the smoked salmon is done, vacuum seal it and store it in the freezer immediately. To insure it never gets contaminated; always keep it frozen until right before you intend to eat it.
The holidays call for something special, something out of the ordinary and fresh. The holidays call for something that is rich and flavorful, something bold and new. But the holidays also call for succulent fish, fresh dishes and simple recipes. That’s where this boiled shrimp recipes come in. It is easy, fresh, simple, and perfect for the holidays.

The first thing you need for this boiled shrimp recipe is some fresh shrimp! (who would have thought, right?) a pot, water from the tap, a lemon, and cocktail sauce. This boiled shrimp recipes is easy, as you are just going to juice it with a lemon and throw it over some cocktail sauce in a cocktail glass. But we are getting ahead of ourselves here…first we need to boil the shrimp.

What you need to determine first is if you have frozen shrimp or fresh, unfrozen shrimp. This will determine boil times if you don’t have the time to wait for your frozen shrimp to thaw. We’d highly recommend you thaw your shrimp before you boil them, as you will get a fresher taste this way.

However, if you have fresh shrimp, there are a few other prep steps that you are going to have to take before you start this boiled shrimp recipes. First, you need to examine the shrimp and see if they still have their outer shell on them. If they do, you need to remove it. Also, look down their backs, (the outside of the curve) and see if you see a little black line running right down the middle. If you can see the black line, you need to remove it with a knife. This little black line is where the shrimp keep their poop, so unless you like eating feces, you need to get rid of it as soon as possible.

After you have done this, salt the water and bring it to a boil. Boil the shrimp until they are firm to the touch yet still a bit squishy and a nice, toned, pink. Squeeze your lemon over them and throw them over some cocktail sauce for a simple, easy, boiled shrimp recipes.
Someone once said, Summertime, and the living’s easy. And they were right. It’s summer time. Living’s easy. You’re out back, grilling. You have no dirty dishes to clean up, no pots or pans to wash. Just a grill, you, a beer, and your food. But what should you make? You’ve been making burgers, chicken, and steaks all year. You want something different, something fresh. Something from the sea. Shrimp! you think. Shrimp is what you want. Grilled shrimp. But—another road block—you don’t know how to make it. Fear not. We have a grilled shrimp recipe for you right here that is easy and simple.

For this grilled shrimp recipe, you are going to need the following items. You’ll need a grill, shrimp, bell peppers—that is, the yellow, red, orange, and green kind—as well as a white onion. Also, make sure you have grilling skewers so that you can more easily cook your grilled shrimp.

To begin this grilled shrimp recipe you have to do some preparations before you start cooking. First, you want to start your grill, allow it to warm up so you can more easily clean it. Use a simple brush to clean the grate. If some of the more sticky stuff won’t come off, you can use a little bit of oil on a paper towel to remove it. Also, allow your shrimp to thaw out.

Cut the bell peppers into small cubes for the grilled shrimp recipe, then cut the onion into similar cube shapes. Take your shrimp and vegetables are start skewering them, staggering the shrimp in between pieces of onion and pepper. (An aesthetic tip: if you stagger the colors of your pepper, the ka-bobs will look prettier!)

Once you have your skewers made its time to start cooking this grilled shrimp recipe. Place the skewers on the grill, and cook over low heat, turning them every so often as to get an even cook. You can optionally add barbeque sauce to flavor if you wish. When they are finished remove them, allow them to cool for a minute, then enjoy. See, wasn’t that a quick and easy grilled shrimp recipe?
Tuna fish sandwich is easy to make, not to mention, it is incredibly cheap and will take you no time at all to put together. It is tasty and offers you much needed protein during the day, not to mention, will shake up your daily routine and remove the monotony of every day methods. Cans of tuna can be bought for a dollar at the super market. Don’t worry about getting the more expensive tuna, you are going to make your tuna sandwich tasty on your own.

You will need the following items to make a super tasty tuna fish sandwich: a can of tuna, mayonnaise, celery, relish, and peas (optional). First, what you need to do is open the can of tuna with a traditional can opener. Drain the tuna of the water (you don’t want a soggy tuna fish sandwich) and place the tuna fish into a bowl. I’d suggest adding the relish first. You want just enough so that the tuna looks to be spotted with green—like Gorgonzola cheese. Next, chop up some celery, 1 stalk should be enough, and place it to the side. You can leave it in larger pieces, or mince it into finer pieces. Add the mayonnaise, mixing the relish and tuna fish mix until you have the desired consistency. Add the peas, if you so choose to do so, and mix them lightly throughout. You will be left with a crunchy yet tasty tuna fish sandwich that you will love.

To make your tuna fish an actual tuna fish sandwich, you are going to need some bread. I prefer some golden wheat bread, as it is light and yet still has a lot of fiber that you need for a balanced diet. You also should toast your bread, as the tuna fish is going to be wet and will make your bread soggy if you are making it for lunch later. After toasting it, you may even consider adding a tiny bit of butter to the bread to make it a bit more tasty.
Eating fish for dinner is a great way to shake things up and mix up your daily routine. Avoiding a monotonous routine is a great way to keep your moral up and you happy and energized. Below is a grilled salmon recipe that will add breath and depth to your diet.

In order to make the grilled salmon recipe that we are listing, you are going to need, first and foremost, a grill. You can’t make grilled salmon without a grill! You are also going to need salmon (for the same reason as the grill), red, orange, and yellow bell peppers, a lemon, and some asparagus as a side. You will also need some tin foil to wrap up your food before you grill it.

First, you want to cut your peppers julienne (that means long ways) into thin strips. You also want to put your lemon into wedges and place them aside. Add the salmon in to the tin foil, along with one lemon wedge and a sufficient amount of bell peppers. Make a flower around the salmon and lemon wedge and bell peppers and leave an opening in the top to allow the steam to escape. Cook on low heat over the grill. Meanwhile, take your asparagus and cook it directly on the grill, allowing it to get grill marks before you remove them.

For this grilled salmon recipe you should let it cook until the bell peppers are soft to the touch. By letting them cook on low heat for a longer period of time, you are allowing the flavors of the lemon, salmon and bell peppers to mix together, leaving a smokey, grilled taste through all of your food. Unwrap the salmon, bell peppers, and lemon from the tin foil (after letting it cool, of course) and serve with the grilled asparagus. A little bit of white wine or some light beer goes great with this dish. And make sure to season this grilled salmon recipe with salt and pepper before you enjoy your meal.
Looking for a shrimp pasta recipe? Chances are, you already have most the ingredients sitting in your fridge already. The great thing about a shrimp pasta recipe is that its cheap, quick and versatile. Feel free to experiment with different kinds of pasta, ingredients and seasonings until you arrive on the shrimp pasta recipe that you absolutely love. Provided below are the instructions and ingredients for a simple shrimp pasta recipe that will get you on your way.

Besides the shrimp and, of course, the pasta you’ll have to raid your cupboard for a few other things. Namely, salt and pepper, extra virgin olive oil, butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning and finally parmesan cheese. If you don’t have any of these items you are in luck because they can be found at any food store, they are cheap and come in bulk meaning: 1) you won’t have to spend much money 2) you can make this shrimp pasta recipe more than once.

To begin, just start boiling a big pot of water like you normally do when cooking any other pasta like spaghetti. While waiting on the water, start to defrost your shrimp by setting it under cold water. When the water starts boiling throw in your pasta noodles and remember to stir occasionally and follow the box instructions. Once your shrimp is defrosted, add the oil, butter and seasonings to a skillet on medium heat to form your sauce. Then add in your shrimp, remembering to stir the shrimp occasionally for about 12 minutes. Drain the pasta and serve it onto the plates. Then, add your shrimp plus sauce on top. And there you have it, a shrimp pasta recipe that only takes about 25 minutes. What more could you ask for?
