Vegetables are a necessary side to any meat or main course. Greens are really important to your diet and you must have them or you will feel the health side effects. As important as vegetables are for you, we know how tedious and monotonous grilling vegetables can be. They always taste the same, and it gets old really quick when you are eating the same grilling vegetables day in and day out. Below you will find a marinade for grilling vegetables that will excite your taste buds and your life and eliminate the monotony of eating the same grilling vegetables all the time.

This marinade for grilling vegetables is easy to make, and you can buy all the supplies at your local grocery store. For the marinade, you need a bottle of Italian dressing, hot sauce, and grated Parmesan cheese. The best vegetables to use for grilling are bell peppers, onions, and asparagus. Mix up the colors of your bell peppers, as they all have a slightly different taste to them. Green, red, yellow, and orange are all great varieties of bell peppers to use. Cut the peppers and onion julienne (that means you ought to cut them long ways) into thin strips and set them aside. Don’t cut the asparagus.

Then, place all your cut vegetables and the asparagus into a large, sealable bag. Shake up the bottle of Italian dressing and add it to the bag. Seal the bag and shake it up, allowing the dressing to wash over all the vegetables. Once they are covered, add a bit of hot sauce—not too much, as you don’t want the hot sauce flavor to overpower your grilling vegetables and the Italian dressing. Seal and shake once again. Finally, add the grated parmesan cheese until you can see it visibly over all of the vegetables, like spots or chicken pox. Leave the vegetables in the refrigerator for 30 minutes at the very minimum. Take them out and grill them when you are finished. Remember, the longer you leave them in, the better your marinade for grilling vegetables will taste!

For all your corn lovers out there, here are four simple ways how to cook corn on cob in less time than it took you to get it from the grocery. Read these easy steps and you”ll never have to search for a corn on the cob article again!

Steaming Corn on the Cob

First, grab a pot and bring the water to a running boil. While you’re waiting on the water, shuck the husks and wash the corn under cold water. Once you’re clean and boiling, grab a steamer rack or basket and place the corn o on it and cover it. Steam for about 10-12 minutes and then add your dressing.

Grilling Corn on the Cob

Before dragging the grill out of the garage, soak the corn with the husks still on in a container completely submerged for about 15 minutes. Afterwards, drain the excess water and put those babies on the grill. Cover the corn and remember to turn them every 5-10 minutes. You’ll know when the corn is done once the husks are browned and the tips are blackened. When you have grilled them to your satisfaction, take the corn off and peel off the husks. To clean off any excess ash run them under cold water and then prepare your dressings.

Boiling Corn on the Cob

Take your biggest pot and bring it to a boil. Once again while waiting on the water is the best time to husk the corn and wash them off with cold water. Then put the corn in for 3-8 minutes or until tender. Use your tongs to remove the corn and drain the excess water. Let them cool off for about 5 minutes and then you’re ready to apply your dressing.

Microwaving Corn on the Cob

To microwave corn on the cob you have to plan ahead because the corn has to soak in a container with the husks, completely submerged, for about 30 minutes. After soaking, drain the excess water and place them in the microwave on a safe plate. Cook for about 7-8 minutes depending on your model and rotating them yourself if necessary and then let them cool off before adding the dressing.

Look at that 4 easy ways for how to cook corn on cob in less than 5 minutes , and its time to start cooking! Enjoy!

Not to be corny but, nothing is better on a warm summer’s day than grabbing a few ears and cooking corn on the grill. As both a great snack and delicious side dish, corn on the cob is perfect for any social gathering in the sun. With these three steps you’ll be the cob master of the your next party

First, before anything, soak the corn with the husks in a container completely submerged. To accomplish this you might have to weigh those babies down so they won’t float.

Once moist then throw them on the grill with the cover on. Remember to keep turning the corn every 5-10 minutes so they won’t burn. You will know when the corn is done once the entire husk is browned and the ends are blackened. This takes some time to perfect so don’t worry if your first time is less than memorable.

Next take corn on the cob off the grill and clean them before serving. This is done by peeling off the husks and rinsing them under cold water to remove any excess ash you might have missed. Then its time to add your dressing and feast.

Cooking corn on the grill may seem complex but the more times you practice it you’ll see just how easy and enjoyable it is. So what are you waiting for, start your engines!

For those looking to cook corn on cob here are four, count em four, easy ways to meet all of your cooking needs. Take a gander at the list and follow these simple and delicious steps to road to a perfect meal.

How to Cook Corn on Cob: The Steam Machine

When steaming corn on cob you must first shuck off the husks and rinse the corn under cold water. Then grab your biggest pot and fill it with water, bringing it to a rolling boil. Once the water is ready, place the corn on a steamer rack (or basket) and cover those babies up. Steaming corn on cob take about 10-12 minutes to cook, and then they are ready for your favorite dressings.

How to Cook Corn on Cob: Boil, Boil, Toil and Trouble

Boiling corn on the cob is really quite similar to steaming, as you really only need a big pot filled with boiling water. First, shuck the corn and clean it off with cold water while waiting for the water to boil. Then, place the corn in for 3-8 minutes depending on how tender you like your corn. After they finish, use your tongs to take them out (careful they’re hot!) and drain the water. Let the corn cool off for about five minutes and then add all the dressing your heart desires.

How to Cook Corn on Cob: Watch out, Radioactive Man!

Before microwaving corn on the cob, you’re going to want to soak them in water with their husks, entirely submerged. For best results find a container large enough to fit at least two ears of corn and place something on top to weigh them down. Soak them for at least a half an hour and then drain the excess water. Cooking time in the microwave should take about only 7-8 minutes depending on your own model, and remember if you don’t have a rotating plate inside the microwave, to rotate the corn half way through. Wait for the ding and then its time to add the dressing!

How to Cook Corn on Cob: Grill, Baby, Grill

There’s nothing better than a little grilled corn on the cob to add to your backyard bbq. However, before firing up the grill , you must first completely submerge the corn with the husks for about 20 minutes, to provide needed moisture for cooking. After soaking the corn, drain the excess water and throw them on the grill. For best results, cover the corn and turn them every 5-10 minutes so they won’t burn. Once the husk has browned and blackened at the tips the corn is ready to be taken off and cleaned. To clean grilled corn on the cob, peel off the husk and then wash off excess ash under running water. Then its time to go wild with your dressing!

No matter what method you choose, cooking corn on cob is a great addition to any dish and guaranteed way to share a great meal with friends and family.
