Cooking Temperature For Steak Chart

Steaks 1/2” to 3/4” thick-

  • Medium Rare – 145 Degrees for 4-5 minutes on each side
  • Medium – 160 Degree for 6-8 minutes on each side


Steaks 1” to 1 and 1/2” thick

  • Medium Rare – 145 degrees for 6-8 minutes
  • Medium – 160 Degrees for 9-11 minutes

Rare – Center most part of steak is red.

Medium Rare - Center is extremely pink, not red however.
