For your next barbecue, don’t take up space, and time, baking potatoes in the oven, grill them! Grilling bakes potatoes is a snap, and will leave you with a delicious side for your next cookout.

First slice your baked potatoes into small disks to prepare for grilling. The thicker the disks, the longer it will take to grill, I’d recommend 1/4 of an inch.

One of the biggest advantages of grilling baked potatoes is the ability to marinate them prior to, and during, cooking! Use a good seasoning or oil then prepare for grilling.

Grilling baked potatoes should be done over medium heat and will usually take around 20 minutes. The best way to ensure they’re done is to bit into one. If the center is soft then you’re good to go.

Grilling baked potatoes is a great idea for when dinner is hectic or you don’t want to wait 45 minutes to an hour for your potatoes to bake in the oven. Also, you can easily throw them onto a tray afterwards and seasons for a delicious side, without all the waste of baked potatoes.
