-Make sure to buy the freshest set of ribs you can, even if it means avoiding pre-rubbed ribs.

-Always cook your ribs over indirect heat rather than direct ribs. This may take longer but ensures a much better taste.

-Indirect heat means not cooking directly over the flame, or on the side of the grill where the fire is.

-Always clean your pork ribs before grilling by cutting off all the fat.

-Always grill with the bone side down.
