Oven Cooked Pork Ribs- A How-To

When you just don”t have the space to grill, oven baked ribs are another alternative to a satisfying meal. Though it may take a little longer, oven cooked pork ribs can taste just as great as grilled, but you have to place ahead. Here’s how:

Preparation(To be done the night or morning before you intend to cook):

-Clean up the ribs by removing all the fat

-Apply your dry rub on both sides

-Place in a bag and refrigerate

Cooking:

-Preheat oven to 250ºF (121ºC)

-Place your ribs into roasting pan and pour your braising liquid into 1/4″ of the pan

-Cover the pan and place in the oven for about 2 hours

-Once ready remove the ribs from the pan and pour the liquid into a sauce pan

-Wrap the ribs to keep them warm, and bring your braise to a boil

-Brush on the sauce
